Lead from the Front

Tough times create tough challenges.
These demand more from everyone and result in change, often significant and difficult change, both at the corporate and individual level.
Ian Adkins understands all about facing big challenges as well as delivering real results in demanding environments. It is what he has done for 25 years. Ian assists leaders to:

  • Get focussed
  • Set direction
  • Unite the team
  • Communicate their message
  • Take effective and coordinated action
  • Realise real returns, quickly

He supports leaders like you, as they lead from the front, setting direction, uniting the team and making change happen. Big challenges require focus, resilience and commitment, from you, your team, and the business as a whole. Ian works with clients to deliver these elements so that they get the results that they are after, as a business and as an individual, and they get them in a timely and cost effective manner.

You

You are likely to be a director, manager, entrepreneur or business owner, leading a team of people, delivering great results for your customers but under great pressure. Your team could be small or large; it could be 10 people, 100 people, 1,000 people or even 10,000 people. It matters not. What unites you and the others that Ian works with is that you face a big challenge and want support in making change happen. You may want a facilitator, a change agent, a coach, a mentor, a trainer, a consultant or simply a friendly voice on the end of a phone and, occasionally, a firm shoulder to lean on.

Your challenge

Your challenge may be immediate or some way off, but it is something that you know you need to get to grips with. There is probably a tension between this bigger challenge and getting the day-to-day job done too. Your challenge might fall into one of these categories:

  • New leader
  • New team
  • New market
  • New strategy
  • Challenging market conditions
  • Cutting costs
  • Downsizing
  • Problem people
  • Poor teamwork
  • A reorganisation
  • Culture change, or just …
  • A need to sharpen things up and get more efficient

Your results

Ian works with his clients in a variety of ways and offers a suite of products so that they can get the results they want, in the way that best suits their needs. How could Ian help you?

Training. You can get access to Ian’s methods and his knowledge through his training products, both live and online.

Coaching. You, and possibly members of your team, could benefit from some 1 to 1 coaching. Every programme is tailor-made to meet the needs of the client, and will typically be 4, 8 or 12 weeks in duration and aim to deliver significant benefits in clarity, motivation, self-awareness, leadership knowledge and personal performance. 8 or 12 week programmes will deliver significantly greater benefits that are more likely to be long-lasting.

Consulting. You may prefer Ian to come into your organisation and work closely with you and your team. Typically, you and Ian will work together to clarify your requirements, and after a little fact finding and consultation, confirm a programme of work. He will guide you and facilitate the process, providing advice as necessary, and running any workshops, retreats, away-days or presentations you may want. He will assist you in keeping you and your managers on track as you collectively develop and, if appropriate, deliver the strategy, plan or change programme that is wanted. Ian has a good team of colleagues who he can call on to provide additional knowledge, skills and experience if appropriate.

Speaking. Ian Adkins is always delighted to come in to an organisation and deliver a speech or presentation to support you as you move forward with your strategy or change programme. Typically, this might be around a leadership topic, possibly on the role of leaders in delivering results in challenging circumstances.

Connecting

Ian is always delighted to connect with people, and would be keen to link with you on Facebook and Twitter. It would also be great if you signed up for his newsletter so that you can stay up to date with his blog and other news.
